Lulus Local Food is looking for responsible individuals to serve as Interns one day a week May 1 through October 30, 2010. Lulus Local Food is an on-line local food co-op designed to connect local farms and small businesses with customers seeking fresh local food year round. Our Summer Season opens May 1 and Interns are needed to serve as Site Coordinators as various locations around the Richmond Metropolitan area on Thursdays to meet farmers delivering food starting at 11am and greet customers picking up food until 6pm.
Candidates for this position must be responsible people oriented individuals looking to gain knowledge and insight into the local food system. An active hands on job, this opportunity promises rewarding relationships with active members of the local food community and a small financial bonus at the close of the season.
